As an exciting addition to the 2007 meeting, we will present the fourth "Felix T. Rapaport Memorial Award", the third "Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Award", the third "J. Wesley Alexander Research Award", and the second "İhsan Doğramacı Award", to those persons who have shown excellence in related immunology research, clinical transplantation, transplantation research, and the development of transplantation activities in their country, respectively. In addition to these prizes, the best oral presentation will be awarded $1,000 and the best poster presentation will be awarded $500 as the the second "Nevzat Bilgin Best Oral and Poster Presentation Awards."

Three separate scientific committees will decide the winners of these honors. Each winner will receive a prize of $US 10,000, a medal exhibiting the award’s namesake, a Başkent University gold pin, first-class air travel to the conference, full payment of congress fees, and an award certificate. Anyone wishing to nominate themselves or another candidate for these awards must complete the enclosed application form and mail or fax it to the Congress Secretariat. The deadline for submission of candidate names is May 31, 2007.
